Pennsylvaniaâs new $50.1 billion budget spends $6 billion more than it takes in â with no reforms, no accountability, and cuts to public cyber charters that set school choice back a decade.
Unchecked spending is driving inflation and hammering hardworking Pennsylvanians. Itâs fiscal chaos.

The @pennsylvaniadot announced that a bridge on Paper Mill Road (Route 2024) over the north branch of Muddy Creek was struck over the weekend and is closed until further inspection and/or repairs can be made. The 88-year-old bridge is located between Route 74 in Lower Chanceford Township and Flintville Road in Peach Bottom Township in southeastern York County.
In the meantime, a detour will use, Route 74, Broad Street, Lay Road, Flintville Road and Paper Mill Road.
I had the pleasure of touring The Bakery Complex with @yceapa, a redevelopment project transforming the former JB Fishelâs Bakery in West York into a multi-tenant entertainment hub.
The vision includes food and beverage vendors, retail shops, sports simulators, rage rooms, live music, party and meeting spaces and more, bringing new energy and opportunities to the heart of West York. I am excited to see how this project will benefit the community and local economy.
Today, on Veterans Day, Iâm reflecting on the incredible men and women who have served and whom Iâve had the privilege of meeting during my first year as your senator.
From hearing their stories to celebrating their achievements, every moment has been a powerful reminder of the courage and sacrifice that protect our freedoms. Iâm proud to stand alongside these heroes and honored to share a few photos from this past year that left a lasting impact.
đ đYesterday, I had the pleasure of cheering on the Dillsburg Ponies as they drove past my office in a send-off parade to the 2025 CFA Pony Super Bowl to play Red Land!
This yearâs championship featured the grandchildren of two 31st District legendsâCol. Joe Innerst and Dr. Larry Coxâgoing head-to-head. The Dillsburg Ponies came out on top with a 20-0 victory!
Congrats to both teams on an amazing season! The 31st District is a true powerhouse in Youth Club Pony Football!

Tomorrow, my offices will be closed in honor of Veterans Day.
This is a day to pause, reflect and celebrate the incredible courage and sacrifice of the men and women who have served our country. Their dedication protects our freedoms and inspires us every day.
Yesterday, I attended a Veterans Day Celebration and Breakfast hosted by the @yorkcountypa Department of Veterans Affairs.
It was a meaningful morning honoring the service and sacrifice of York Countyâs veterans. I am truly grateful to all who have served to defend our freedoms and protect the rights we hold dear. Thank you Veterans!
PennDOT invites the public to an online plans display regarding Route 194, Section 026 (Baltimore Pike) Culvert Replacement Project over an unnamed tributary (UNT) to the North Branch of Bermudian Creek in Washington Township, York County. The purpose of this project is to provide a continued safe and efficient crossing on Route 194 over the tributary to the North Branch of Bermudian Creek.
The existing structure was built in 1929 and is a single-span reinforced concrete slab bridge supported on concrete abutments. The bridge length is 17 feet and has a curb-to-curb width of 31 feet.
The proposed structure is anticipated to be a precast concrete box culvert. Minor approach roadway work including pavement reconstruction, rock slope protection, and guide rail upgrades will also be performed. The roadway alignment will closely match the existing geometry. The roadway and bridge will be slightly widened to accommodate 11-foot lanes and 5-foot shoulders, providing a curb-to-curb width of 32 feet.
Route 194 will be detoured during construction.
The project is currently in design, and work is expected to take place in the 2027 construction season.
The purpose of the plans display is to introduce the project and solicit public input, questions, or concerns regarding the project.
You can view a digital version of the project plans and give public comments through November 20 at the link in my bio.
