HARRISBURG – Sen. Dawn Keefer (R-31) and Rep. Thomas Kutz (R-87) will host a free shredding and license plate replacement event on Thursday, July 30, from 4-7 p.m. at Mechanicsburg Middle School, 1750 S. Market St., Mechanicsburg.
This community-focused event will offer residents two valuable services:
- Document Shredding: Securely dispose of old bank statements, medical records, tax documents and other personal papers to help prevent identity theft. There is a five-box limit per household, and items must be paper-based. For convenience, participants are asked to remain in their vehicles.
- Damaged License Plate Replacement: The Upper Allen Police Department will be on site to inspect license plates. Bring your vehicle with the damaged plate attached, valid driver’s license and vehicle registration card. Once processed through PennDOT, new plates will be mailed directly to vehicle owners.
Residents of the 31st Senatorial District are asked to register for this event in advance by visiting SenatorKeefer.com/events.
For more information, contact Keefer’s office at 717-432-1730 or Kutz’s office at 717-975-2235.
