I had a great time joining the @Brubacher&Beyond podcast to discuss the role local government plays in the construction industry. We explored why local control matters, how streamlined processes can move projects forward more efficiently, and how policymakers evaluate which regulations support progress and which may slow it down.

If you work in construction, development or local government, this conversation offers a valuable look at how policy shapes daily operations.

Pennsylvanians deserve to know what's really in it. Learn more at the link in my bio.

Meet Senator Keefer

Dawn Keefer has been a champion of right-sizing government and reining in government regulation during her time in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2017-2024, and since her election to the state Senate in November 2024. As State Representative of the 92nd legislative district in Northern York County, Keefer cut her legislative teeth during her first year in office, developing a non-taxing solution to balance a state budget that included $1.5 billion more in spending than in projected revenues.
